General
- We perform our duties in a reasonably satisfactory manner, showing interest and attention, with discretion, dignity and consistency, towards achieving the Company's objectives, and we comply with all legal and reasonable instructions from our supervisors.
- We act with honesty, ethos and integrity in our dealings with both colleagues and external associates, suppliers, service providers and customers.
- We do not act or fail to act nor engage in harmful acts that would result in defamation or damage to the trust of third parties in the Company.
- We treat our customers with respect and dignity. We do not engage in any act that could be seen as an attempt to deceive our customers, either through advertising and promotional activities or through our personal contact with them. In addition, we inform our customers in a manner that is considered adequate, and we do not conceal anything that may put their safety and wellbeing at risk. Finally, we protect their sensitive personal and business data to the maximum extent possible.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
We are up to date and comply, at all times, with all Laws and Regulations governing our work, including Health & Safety in the workplace, Labour and Environmental Protection laws and accounting standards.
We adopt unambiguous standards in human rights, such as the prohibition of forced and child labour and the elimination of discrimination.
Equality
Discrimination and harassment of any form in the workplace are not acceptable. When asked to select potential suppliers or associates, we provide equal opportunities and rely exclusively on objective criteria relating to the most attractive cooperation proposal. No selections are made based on criteria that may be considered questionable or inconsistent with our Company's Principles and Values. Examples of such criteria include personal gain (financial or other) or stereotypes based on colour, sexual orientation, ethnic origin or other similar criteria.
The same applies to dealings with colleagues or candidates for employment. We provide equal opportunities in matters within our influence that relate to the recruitment, career progression, remuneration, access to training or any internal transfer of any employee. We apply criteria exclusively related to their ability, qualifications, knowledge, skills and performance history and do not discriminate on the basis of gender, ethnicity, colour, sexual preference or any other similar criterion, or criteria relating to kinship, friendship, political party or other obligations.
Company Resources and Equipment
We ensure that the Company’s resources and assets are not wasted or appropriated. Company assets include, but are not limited to, working time, intangible assets and confidential information. The equipment, information, ideas and data that we use or have access to in the course of our work belong to the Company.
The Company's resources must be used exclusively for business purposes. The same applies to the powers granted to us as part of our duties. We protect Company assets and do not engage in malicious actions or acts that may cause unnecessary wear and tear or damage to buildings, equipment, machinery, products or valuable information. We take all appropriate actions to prevent the loss, theft, damage, misuse or abuse of the Company's assets.
Health and Safety
All Company employees and associates must comply with and apply the Health and Safety Rules during our daily operations, contribute to the prevention and avoidance of accidents, as well as immediately report any unsafe situations that may cause accidents.
Finally, working under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances is strictly forbidden.
Conflict of Interest
We place particular emphasis on integrity and transparency in all our business operations, and we do not tolerate bribery or the acceptance of gifts by our employees and associates. Thus, it is not permitted for members of the Management, executives, employees, associates and generally all those who provide services to the Company to receive gifts of any kind or benefits worth more than €50 from the Company’s competitors, suppliers, customers or associates, with the exception of gifts of small value offered in the context of customary business practices and as an expression of social courtesy. Cash gifts are not permitted under any circumstances, irrespective of the amount.
Furthermore, we abstain from actions that could be considered as causes of conflict of interest.
Confidentiality and Data Management
We do not disclose to any person, any information, data or techniques relating to the Company or obtained from the Company or any other business secrets that have come to our knowledge and/or possession during our employment. We are committed to maintaining absolute secrecy and confidentiality in respect of all matters and activities concerning the Company, including the data of the Company’s customers. Moreover, in case of termination of employment, we return to the Company any correspondence, reports, documents, methodologies and any other items belonging to the Company or considered property of the Company, as stated in the Employee Confidentiality Agreement.
Terms of Employment
We come to work at the times specified in our employment contract or relevant written communication and do not violate either the non- essential terms of employment (e.g. working hours, sick leave or other types of leave beyond the usual leave) or those set out in the Company Policies.
We abide by the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Motor and Electric Vehicles Importers Association (SEMΗO) and trade unions SEK and PEO concerning the exercise of a second job by employees of companies that are members of SEMΗO, signed on 12 May 2011.
Social Responsibility
We acknowledge the importance of our business activities for individuals and society, both from an economic and employment perspective, as well as with regard to general issues concerning society and the environment, and we have integrated our day-to-day business into a multi-faceted Corporate Responsibility strategy addressed to both our employees and society as a whole. We actively support the society in which we operate through various activities, particularly in the areas of volunteering, supporting and promoting sports, education and safe driving.
Environmental Responsibility and Sensitivity
Reducing the environmental footprint of our operations and business activities is another key commitment for us. We therefore operate with environmental protection in mind, implementing our organisation's Policies, Standards and Regulations on environmental management. In addition, we actively promote green transition through various actions and activities, as well as through partnerships with other organisations.
